sunday-girl-black-and-white-stockings

I am very gratified when people like my articles and say that they have fun learning from them. That is what it is all about for me. I got several good suggestions and I will use some of them in this article.

1.Unaspected Mars
I don’t know how I could have forgotten this one. The Unaspected Mars is anger in it’s birth day clothes i.e naked: just hanging out there like a dangling tooth(what a terrible metaphor) The sign of Mars will modify the intensity of the anger. A mutable sign, such as Sagittarius would, likely, be less violently angry than a Cardinal sign, such as Capricorn. The House of Mars would give us information on what makes the native angry. However, when it is all said and done, the Unaspected Mars is one angry dude. When he starts to look like Jack Nicholson in “The Shining”, do what Shelly did—hide in the freezer.

2.Mars Conjunct Uranus
Mars Conjunct Uranus is one reason I do not study transits. When one sees this in transit, one is told to be careful of accidents. That warning can make a Cancer Moon and Mars stay under the bed, which he has to fight, anyway. Mars conjunct Uranus is explosive. Picture the guy that blew up the chemistry lab. He had to have had a natal Mars conjunct Uranus or something similar brewing in the skies i.e in transit. In the natal chart, I don’t think the Mars conjunct Uranus mative has the capacity to let his anger build, in the manner of the volcanic Pluto. He lets it rip like John Beluschi in Animal House a la the pus pimple.

3. Saturn square Pluto
This one will, likely, get me in trouble. Saturn/Pluto is known for cruelty. In the case of the square, carping and self critical Saturn may torment passionate Pluto. The result could be a boiling anger that finds it’s satisfaction in cruelty to another person. With the square, the kind of cruelty may be worse than the other Saturn/Pluto aspects because anger may simmer and simmer before it releases. In these cases, the consequences may be worse.

4. Mars in Aries
Mars in Aries is a fortunate native when it comes to anger, if his Mars does not have many hard aspects. This is because Aries is direct. What you see is what you get. If he is angry, he will, likely, be able to tell you before he burns the whole house down.

5 Sado conjunct the Moon
I know one of these natives too well, shall we say. If the person has lack of conscience, as well, which this person does, there will be little desire to curb anger. Then, anger will be combined with sadism. I have heard people say that Sado is not sadism, but was named for some mountain in Brazil, figuratively speaking. My teacher is the charts. Sado does play out as sadism. Check your charts and you will see.

I think an area in which I am gifted is that I can get people to talk. With these articles on anger, people have had amazing discussions and I am loving it. We are learning new things about astrology and that is what it is all about. The true expert in any aspect is the native who has that aspect. Yours Truly is a humble, seven year astrology student.

I have five new aspects for your perusal.

1. Mars conjunct the IC
This was given to me by one of my LL buddies, Angel. This aspect makes so much sense, but I did not think of it. Anything that conjuncts the IC shows us the tone of the native’s childhood home. In the case of Mars, it may have been anger. Hence, the native may struggle with anger.

2. Mars Oppose Pluto
We talked about Mars square Pluto and Mars conjunct Pluto. Each variation has it’s own traits. With the opposition, there is a jumping from one extreme to the other. That is the nature of the opposition, in general. In this case, the native may simmer in anger for a period of time. Then, he may explode with anger. Then, he may go back to simmering. Then, in time, he may explode. It seems as if there is no middle ground with the opposition.

3. Pluto Conjunct the IC
I have seen this often enough to know that there was a violent childhood. Hence, anger is wrought in the children.

4. Mars Square the Moon
I cannot stand this aspect, although I am attracted to men with it. This would be under the category of being attracted to people who will hurt you.*Sigh and Moving on* I get more flak from talking about Mars square the Moon than most other things I talk about.. Men with this aspect tell me that they love women. Then, I will dial down my response to say that men with this aspect “mistrust” women. That will, usually, quell the argumentative gents in any group, but between you and me, it is, really, dislike.

5 Sun Conjunct Neptune
You may wonder why I put this here. The reason is that these natives may be very angry that they do not have sufficient “get up and go” to get out of their parent’s basement and live on their own, metaphorically speaking. Sun Conjunct Neptune may have a blurred sense of self. Hence, it, truly, is difficult to get out there and make a mark on the world. It is, really, through no fault of his own. However, he is, likely, very angry at the losses in his life and resentful of others who have become successes.

People seem to appreciate this series. We tend to try to sweep “unacceptable” passions under the rug. Well, astrology gets them up from under the rug and Thank God for that!

1. Mars Oppose Uranus
Mars is the glyph of the male. The male pursues. The male is yang, which is active action.Uranus makes erratic that which it touches. Uranus makes unstable that which it touches. Uranus makes brilliant that which it touches, as well. However, if we put Mars/Uranus together, we may have erratic action. If we add the opposition, we may have erratic action that is present at times and not at others. In this case, the native may do a shocking action, such as drive his care a hundred miles per hour. Then, he may “freak out”and pull back and not drive for a period of time or drive like an old lady–guilty(Mars in Cancer) The opposition tries to achieve balance by going from one extreme to the other. However, this is not really balance because the middle ground remains elusive.

2. Mars Conjunct Mercury
This is one of my favorite aspects. This is not an anger aspect, per se. This is an aspect for being very direct and forthright. Do not expect this native to fudge, lie or demure. If you ask the Mars conjunct Mercury native if you look fat in that bathing suit, be prepared for the real answer. A well known example of Mars conjunct Mercury is Simon Cowell, who is one of my heroes.

3. Jupiter oppose Uranus
I hate this aspect. These natives seem to love to shock people. I really and truly hate when people do that. This may not be an anger aspect, per se, but it could be one that gets THEM punched in the face( and rightly so)

4. Mars conjunct the North Node

This native will need to learn the lessons of Mars. One of Mar’s lessons is the channeling of passions, one of which is anger. Hence, one would expect to see this native dealing with temper and other manifestations of anger.

5. Pholus (5145)Conjunct the Ascendant
Pholus explodes what it touches. I think of a chemistry experiment which explodes, either intentionally or accidentally. BOOM. In a similar manner, if the Pholus native is in a snit, the whole world will know about it. The intensification or mitigation of this aspect would be shown by the sign of the Ascendant and it’s aspects. For example, in the case of Aries, watch out and skip school that day. In the case of Libra, sit in the back of the class.

Why Scorpio men won’t tell how they feel about you

tues-guy-carry-girl

The initial stage of a relationship is harrowing, especially if you are with an uncommunicative man. You’re falling for him, but he just won’t come out and say how he feels. He’s sticking around, yes … but how do you know it’s not just for sex, or because being with you is better than being alone? You want clarity! And unfortunately, the Scorpio man is not the most divulging guy on the block.

Scorpio is the sign of secrets. This sign is not forthcoming, but for good reason. Scorpio is an emotional water sign, and feels pretty deeply. It may not be obvious, but there’s alot going on inside. The Scorpio man is keenly aware of people’s ability to harm, abuse and manipulate one another. His ruling planet Pluto is the Lord of the Underworld, after all. Scary, dark things happen down there. Unspeakable things. It is better to just keep a lid on it, don’t you think? Otherwise, all the demons will be unleashed, and that’s not a pretty thing.

So, he keeps his feelings close to his chest. Although Scorpio has a rep for being mysterious, he’s only hiding from you because he’s afraid. After all, if he bares his soul to you, who knows how you can use that sensitive information to undermine him? He needs to trust you — implicitly — to give you the keys to his heart. He may indeed love you, but it’s not easy for him to utter the words. Not until he’s made sure they won’t come back and haunt him.

Five Aspects In The Natal Chart That Show a Hard Relationship With The Mother

woman-one

1. Moon Oppose Chiron
This aspect seems to be one in which emotions, in general, may be very painful for the native. That has been my observation. It is, almost, as if the person is “hurt” by his own emotions. The classic interpretation for this aspect is a difficult, painful relationship with the mother. However, the relationship has a back and forth quality. At times, there may be closeness. Then, the pain seems to reemerge and the people pull away. This cycle may be repeated for a life time without real resolution. *Sigh*. So sad

2. Moon square Pluto
This aspect may indicate a very hard relationship with the mother, in which there are power plays and “stand offs”. The nature of the square may indicate that the relationship never really gets better.

3. Moon Conjunct Chiron
Chiron conjunct the Moon may be a major ouchie, especially if it is close. In the case of the close conjunction, the native may carry this pain throughout his life. With Chiron, the only band aid is forcing oneself to help others. Honestly, one, often, has to force oneself. There is something comforting about going into a dark room and nursing \one’s pain. With a strong Chiron in the natal chart, one must resist this urge as one resists cheesecake when one is on a diet.

4. Moon Square Chiron
In this case, the relationship with the mother may feel as if it is hopeless to change. The native may carry a constant kind of inner pain due to lack of maternal nurturing. Very sad

5. Nemesis(128) Conjunct the Moon
Nemesis is what you think—a hidden enemy. When it conjuncts one’s Moon, one’s mother may try to undermine one. This can make the child become emotionally fragile, shall we say. Who can really believe one’s mother is one’s enemy. Most people blame themselves.

1. Saturn Conjunct the Ascendant
These natives are the proverbial “little old man or little old woman.” They may have been expected to shoulder adult responsibilities when they were too young. I think of the little child who took care of her siblings, so her mother could work. She had to become the mother, virtually. If this experience did not happen, the NATURE of it may have been imprinted on the Saturn conjunct Ascendant native. Also, these natives may have dental or skeletal problems.

2. Unaspected Moon
These natives are, usually, very warm and nurturing people. This native had little nurturing, but, somehow, she turned out to be someone who has a lot to give others. However, her sense of loneliness and alienation seems to last a lifetime. I, also, include the “Almost Unaspected” Moon, as I call it. This is a Moon with very few aspects, usually just one. My classic example is Michael Jackson, who had one aspect to his Moon–a square from Saturn. These native, usually, have a lost little child quality about them,as Michael Jackson personified.

3. Deprez(9795) Conjunct the Moon
I need to observe asteroids in many charts before I come to rely on their meaning. I have seen Deprez indicate depression when in close aspect to personal parts of the chart. Personal parts of the ccchart include the Ascendant. MC, IC, Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury and Venus.

4.Saturn square the Moon
This aspect may indicate a mother with whom one can never really establish a healthy relationship. The mother may be a burden to the native in some way. The person may hide her own emotions so deeply that she cannot access them. This may result in a sense of disconnection from oneself, which is one of the worst feelings in the world.

5. Saturn Conjunct the Moon
This native seems to be very, very self critical. There is not much worse than having one’s mind attack one. We, all, have it to a degree, I think. The degree varies. The native may pick apart her own emotions with a ferocity. She may be the proverbial “one’s worst enemy”

Five Aspects in the Natal Chart For a Good Relationship With the Mother

woman-and-dogSome fortunate souls have a loving relationship with their mothers. One’s natal chart shows the relationship one will have with, both, the mother and the father. How amazing!

1. Ceres(1) Conjunct the Moon
I love Ceres. It is one of my favorite asteroids. If is the unselfish and sacrificial love of a mother for her child. This native will, likely, have felt very loved and cherished.

2. Moon trine Venus
This is a classic aspect for CHARM. I can feel it in a guy, just as I can feel Mars in Scorpio in a guy. In either sex, this aspect produces an authentic and natural chart, which makes the native well loved. The native was well loved by his mother, too.

3. Venus Conjunct the IC
This child felt loved in his childhood home.

4. Moon trine Jupiter
The mother was seen as a positive influence on the child. The child felt happy in the presence of the mother.

5 Moon trine Neptune
There is a nice simpatico between mother and child. They may share creative interests.

Saturn in Synastry—-A Blessing or a Curse?

$

tues-girl-with-mirror

This is a great question. I got it, in a round about way, from Lisa. First of all, Saturn is glue.Secondly, Saturn is parental. Thirdly, Saturn is discipline, maturity and reaching goals. Saturn is like all planets, in that they can be a blessing or a curse. The most common way to be a blessing is in a positive aspect, such as the trine or sextile. The most common way to be a curse is in the negative aspects of the square and opposition.

I, always, get hostile feedback when I use the terms negative and positive. I do think there are blessings and curses. The curses may, indeed, make us stronger. They may, indeed, lead us to God. However, they are very difficult and they are a challenge. Perhaps, I should use the word “challenging” instead of negative. I will give you that, but squares and oppositions do not allow for change. One must work around them.

Back to Saturn in synastry. Saturn in trine or sextile is a good kind of glue. It holds people together, but does not feel like a prison. Saturn in hard aspect may hold people together, but it may feel like a prison. With Saturn, the conjunction is a hard aspect.

NOW, the big question is “Can a Saturn conjunction be good?” The answer is yes, given certain conditions. The conditions are that there is enough love and simpatico to overcome the strict parent quality that the Saturn brings to the planet( or angle person). The angles are the Ascendant, Descendant, IC and MC.

I just met a lovely girl whose boyfriend’s Saturn conjuncts her Sun, exact. She likes the parental traits he brings to her. She likes someone to help her discipline herself because she finds it difficult to do, on her own. Hence, a Saturn conjunction works for them. However, they, also, have many loving and deeply bonding aspects, such as Moon conjunct Moon. Without these, Saturn in conjunction would, likely, feel like an unwanted bondage.

Five Painful Aspects in the Natal Chart–Part Four

tues-red-bathing-suit

It was pointed out to me that I did a Part Five without a Part Four. That is an earth void in action.

1. Echo Conjunct the Sun
I have Echo conjunct Saturn. That which conjuncts Saturn makes for a difficult struggle. Echo is one’s authentic voice. I have a person ready to edit my website. Right before she was going to start the job, I asked her not to edit. My website represents my voice. The grammar may not be right. The words may not be the best choices, but they are my choices and a personal expression. Hence, I would rather have some mistakes than a pristine palette, which does not reflect who I am. In my experience, Echo conjunct the Sun seems to pack the worst wallop. These natives seem to crave a great deal of approval. As a result, they seem to elicit the dislike of others. They do not seem to ever understand why. Instead, they seem to become arrogant, rather than face their role in their own problems.

2. Seventh House Stellium
This stellium seems to be one of the hardest. That which resides in the seventh house may be cast out by the native, unconsciously, and sought out in the partner. If we have a planet like Mars, the native may give up her own drive to her partner. This does not make for a happy person because we all need to own our own personality parts. Depression may result when we cast them off.

3. Dejanira(157) Conjunct the North Node
That which conjuncts the North Node becomes a life theme. One would not choose to have Dejanira, the victim asteroid, conjunct the North Node. At best, one would learn a great deal and be able to help others, but most people would not choose this route, due to the fact that the native would, likely, be victimized in her road to learning.

4. Sedna(90377) Conjunct the Moon
Sedna is betrayal by the father and men, in general, thereafter. The myth of Sedna will bring tears to your eyes. I have an article on this and will put the link here, so you can look, if you would like.

http://mychristianpsychic.com/journal/asteroid-picks-sedna/

5. Kaali(4277) Conjunct the Ascendant
Kaali is the energy body. When it conjuncts the Ascendant, the energy of the native seems to be easily dispersed. It is like the native is wearing his “insides on the outside”Spending time with people can really drain the energy of the native. Hence, Kaali conjunct the Ascendant is very difficult and painful.

Five Aspects for a Difficult Relationship With the Father in the Natal Chart

girl in cage

1. Sun in the 12th House
This is the classic aspect for the absent father. He may not have been there emotionally and/or physically. The father may have been in jail, as was the case for one of my friends. He may not have been able to relate to men, as was the case of someone else I know. He may have been a workaholic, as was the case for another person.

2. Sun Conjunct Chiron
This aspect indicates great pain in the relationship with the father. Remember, the orb proximity( i.e closeness of the planets) is key. An exact aspect will be much more painful than a four degree aspect, for example. Sun conjunct Chiron seems to, severely, squelch the voice of the native. The reason may be that he hears the condemning voice of his father in his head.

3. Neptune Conjunct the Sun
In this case, the father may not have been absent physically and/or emotionally. He may have had an addiction of some sort. Neptune rules addictions. He may have wanted to escape the responsibilities of fatherhood. Neptune rules escape mechanisms

4. Uranus Conjunct the Sun
These natives are, generally, brilliant. However, there may be a price to be paid in terms of general ego stability. To me, the price would not be worth it. I think most Sun conjunct Uranus natives would agree, but we can wait to hear from them. Uranus makes that which it touches both brilliant and erratic. In the case of the Sun/Uranus conjunction, Uranus touches the EGO, which the Sun represents. I think of Howard Hughes. He was brilliant, by anyone’s standard but he became a hermit in his later, fearing to leave his room and having to be fed through a mail slot in the door. I do not know if he had this aspect but he could have. Very sad!

5. Sun Square Moon
In this case, the native may have a very hard time accessing his emotions. He may have one separate compartment for his ego and another separate compartment for his emotions. He may appear like a robot. The father may not have been an emotional person. The native may have learned that it is not acceptable to be an emotional person, as well.

tea cup tatt 1. Saturn Square the Sun
I know someone with this aspect. Her father pushes her to be a star. I did not know she did not like this until I looked at her chart. She may not know how to say that she doesn’t want this kind of pressure. She may mot even know what she feels. However, she is, likely, burying deep, deep feelings that she cannot express. These buried kinds of feelings may come out as depression, anxiety, a sense of malaise, self hate or other such forms of “expression”

2. Sun Square Pluto
This native has, likely, buried many, intense primal passions. Buried passions do not stay hidden. They emerge in some other form such as chain saw murderer. Just Kidding( a little) The point is that buried emotions are energy. It is impossible to compartmentalize it and expect it to stay neatly filed away. Astrology can help you to face it. This is one of the most rewarding parts of doing Astrology. People are able to face themselves. Prior to Astrology, they may have sensed that something was wrong. However, Astrology can pin point the exact problem. Back to our Sun square Pluto aspect. With this aspect, the father may have been violent. However, The violence may have been a more simmering kind of violence that erupted after periods of hibernation, so to speak. The child would, likely, have lived in fear. For him, as an adult, he needs to try to bring his own buried emotions up to the surface, lest he follow in the footsteps of his father *sigh*

3 Chiron in the 10th House
This aspect seems to show a person whose father, somehow, prevented them from being successful. if not this exact situation, the relationship with the father may have been a source of pain, which remains throughout life. The other thing I see with Chiron in the 10th is a person who feels he does not fit into society. He may be a white person in a black society. He may be a black person in a white society. She may be an unwed mother. He may be a janitor who feels inferior that he is not an executive. I have seen many different situations but the underlying theme seems to remain—the person does not feel he fits in the “right” kind of society i.e the one in which he really wants to fit.

Sedna(90377) Conjunct the Sun

Sedna is extreme betrayal by the father. This can be the case when Sedna is conjunct many different parts of the chart. However, Sedna conjunct the Sun would highlight a special emphasis on betrayal by the father. If you have this, the betrayal by the father was not your fault, but one blames oneself. This is very sad, but true.

Mars Conjunct the Sun

This native may have had a father who was aggressive to him. If the conjunction is in a Cardinal sign, there is more of a chance of physical violence than if it is in a Mutable sign. For the Fixed signs, I am not sure. I will await your responses. Cardinal signs are Aries, cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Fixed signs are Taurus,Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. Mutable signs are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces.

tues-girl-lip-stick

This article( and ones like it) are a request. I love requests. Please, keep them coming but Ix-Ne the articles on squares.

Nemesis(128) Conjunct the Sun
Nemesis is a hidden enemy. This is not much worse than a father( or mother) being a hidden enemy i.e undermining one. This is a fast route to emotional illness in the native, through no fault of his own. It is called Gaslighting. Gaslighting is when someone is doing something to hurt you and acts as if you are imagining it. The term is from the movie of the same name. A man marries a woman and tries to convince her that she is crazy, so he can put her in a mental institution and take her money. The idea sounds preposterous, but it is quite commonly done by the kinds of parents we are talking about in the case of Nemesis conjunct the Sun *SIGH*

2 Sedna (90377)Conjunct the Sun
The asteroid Sedna reveals betrayal by the father when it conjuncts certain parts of the charts, such as the Sun, North Node,Ascendant and MC. I think the greater betrayal would be the Sun conjunct Sedna, though. I have an article about Sedna, in which I share the myth. It is very straightforward, unlike many of the myths, which are convoluted and hard to hone down for practical usage. Sedna goes onto have betrayal by other men who come into her life, such as her husband. I have found that the myths stay the same, regardless of the sex of the native. In other words, a male with Sedna conjunct the Sun would have the same manifestation of the conjunction as would a female.

3.Zeus(5731) Conjunct the Sun
Zeus was a cheater. Hence, the father may have cheated on the mother. The child pays the price for this.

4.Pholus (5145) Conjunct the Sun
Pholus explodes what it touches. BOOM. One does not want Pholus conjunct a prominent part of the chart such as the Sun, Moon, Ascendant, IC, MC, Descendant, Venus, Mars or North Node. Some people may disagree and think making things explode is good. I have heard that, but would not want it myself or be in a relationship in which Pholus was prominent. On the other hand, if one partner has hidden motives and secrets, the Pholus person will bring them to the light, so maybe it is not all bad. When it comes to the father, one would not want a father who “blows the status quo to pieces”, I would not think.

5. Persephone( 399) Conjunct the Sun
Persephone indicates a very hard rite of passage from teen to adult. I have seen this in cases of sexual abuse by the father and in a case in which a man thought his current father was his biological father, but he was not. Hence, natives with Persephone conjunct the Sun may have had a trauma involving the father when they were young adults.

girl black and white bath tub

People seem to be really curious about the specific nature of the influence of their parents on them. I am with mine. The charts show us our parents in vivid detail. If one was abused, one, usually, takes the blame for it. We, just, do. People suffer a lifetime of blaming themselves for how their parents treated them. I have done this, so I am not a virgin talking about sex *SIGH* (I know you like my metaphors) Our life has many fated experiences, such as the nature of one’s relationship with one’s parents. Onto the subject

1. Nessus(7066) Conjunct the Sun
The father may have been abusive. The degree and nature of the abusive could be seen through signs and aspects.

2 Blewitt (22927)
I have, recently, started using this asteroid. I have seen it work in an amazing way, but need to see more usages, so please, tell me what you think. I propose that Blewitt conjunct the Sun may show a father who did not live up to his role i.e failed as a father.

3. Casanova(7328) Conjunct the Sun
This father may have been a ladies man. He may have had what they call a “sexual addiction” i.e Bill Clinton, although he would need more of a nefarious asteroid such as Rape, if they have it.

4 Machiavelli ( 19730) Conjunct the Sun
I have found the Machiavelli asteroid to be very accurate. Machiavelli was a sociopath, in the sense that he did whatever he needed to do to reach the ends he wanted. Hence, one’s father may have had a similar cold streak, if one could call it that.

5, Sado Conjuntthe Sun
Once again, I have seen this asteroid play out in the manner in which one would expect. Sado is sadism. One would not choose a father with Sado conjunct the Sun. However, the point of all this is that the child had no choice However, understanding the consequences of that can bring enlightenment.

woman-feet

1. Cancer Moon
Cancer Moon is said to have had a difficult relationship with the mother. I have, but would love to hear from other Cancer Moons!

2. Moon Conjunct Nemesis(128)
Nemesis conjunct the Moon reveals a mother who is a hidden enemy. Nemesis conjunct the Moon may wreak havoc on the soul of a child, the results of which may last a lifetime.

3. Uranus Conjunct the Moon
Uranus conjunct the Moon natives will not be your “run of the mill, vanilla flavored ice cream” people She would more likely be the villain in a Disney movie, rather than the “goodness and light” main character. By villain, I do not mean evil. I mean outrageously unique i.e the wild and crazy Ursula in”The Little Mermaid”. The mother may have been unsafe or unstable. The child may carry a fragility in her emotions and she may carry it for life, through no fault of her own.

4 Blewitt(22927) Conjunct the Moon
Blewitt is as it sounds—blowing it/failing. I see this asteroid play out in an amazing way. Why do the asteroids play out so accurately, you may ask? The answer is that God has numbered every hair on your head. He knows every detail about you. The chart is that blueprint. That is my opinion after studying the Bible for twenty years and Astrology for seven. Blewitt Conjunct the Moon seems to indicate a mother who failed the native.

5. Moon Conjunct Pluto
This aspect is a very close mother/child relationship. It may be too close. The child may feel( and be) smothered. Hence, I call it the “smother mother” aspect.
